WhatsApp Messenger review
WhatsApp is a messenger app initially released in 2009. It joined Facebook in 2014 and is now available for free on Android, iOS, and desktops.
Design, interface & usability: Your Best Friend
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messengers on the market partially because of its great usability. The interface is extremely user-friendly for people of all ages, making it easy for everyone to jump in and start sending messages right away. All the features are always available within one or two taps, and they are all easy to understand for new users.
The visual part of WhatsApp is also great. The fonts are easy to read, most features are visualized with attractive and informational buttons, and the chats are easy to recognize thanks to the images attached. The best thing about the design is that you can customize the backgrounds for chats to make the app even more pleasant to look at.
Features: Chat, Call, Share, and More
The features of WhatsApp are pretty average for a messenger. With this app, you can have personal or group chats, make audio and video calls, send text or voice messages, share different content, and many more. There are also stickers, location sharing, and many more.
There are also lots of additional features in WhatsApp. For example, you can see whether a message is delivered and read by the receiver. There is also a multimedia saving system that downloads the content you receive instantly on your phone. You can also navigate through the attached files to find a specific attachment you need.
WhatsApp’s great feature is that it has end-to-end encryption enabled by default. That means that no third party can access your messages unless they take over the control of your device. There were several cases, when the users were hacked through some malware they accidentally installed on their phones, but WhatsApp offers a great way to protect from unwanted access. There is a two-step authentication built-in.
